Poorly created graphics could ruin your business reputation. Displaying “old looking” graphics can be a signal to an impressionable audience that your business is old, small and non-dynamic. Giving off this impression is bad – you may as well have not bothered to advertise.

Likewise displaying inaccurate advertisements (miss priced, old promotions and inaccurate contact details). Old advertisements communicate the wrong message. Businesses should be focussed on the future – not the past. Running old promotions is detrimental to the future growth of a business.

Punctuation and grammar is equally just as important as the style and attractiveness of a banner. Banners that are poorly punctuated and contain spelling mistakes will tarnish a business reputation as unprofessional. It will leave an audience asking: “If they can’t spell X correctly how will they do Y”.

Using the wrong banner for the task can confuse audiences. For example, parking signs should be printed onto diabond and permanently fixed to a wall. Banner stands should not be used in this instance because they are not designed to withstand the British weather.

There is a hybrid banner that has vinyl banner qualities but the freestanding characteristics of a banner stand. This type of banner is known as an outdoor banner stand. The banner material is the same as outdoor banner stands and the base can be filled with water or stand to prevent it from blowing over. The system does not roll down and collapse like a banner stand graphic. It is fixed using a switch to a tall (extendible) frame.
